How to get there
coming from Milan
On the hiway'del Sole' (A1) Firenze Signa exit and take the freeway FI-PI-LI (Firenze-Pisa-Livorno) towards Pisa-Livorno. After 30 Km exit in EMPOLI-Ovest and take 'strada statale' 429 direction to Castelfiorentino/Siena. After 11 km you arrive in Castelfiorentino, from here on follow the sign for Montaione (9 Km).
coming from Pisa Airport
From the airport, take the freeway FI-PI-LI (Firenze-Pisa-Livorno) direction Florence, than after 47 Km exit in EMPOLI-Ovest. From here, follow the sign as you came from Milano.
coming from Florence Airport
From the airport, take the hiway 'Firenze-Mare' A11 and after 4 Km turn right and take the hiway A1 direction of Roma and after 8 Km exit in Firenze-Signa. Than follow the indications above.
from Montaione to Piè di Costa
Once arrived in Montaione you will find a little slope 'one way' to reach the center of the village, at the end, you will find a square with a parking (piazza Gramsci), from here on follow the sign for Santo Stefano. At this point, there is a downhill road, and after mt 500 on your left there is Piè di Costa, ricognizable from a sign on a stone wall.
